Adding new row to grid above the selected row

Hi,

I need change functionality for standard adding a new row (toolbar command Create() ) so that it would add the row straight above the selected row, for user's convenience - to allow the user to fill new row data based on the data in the selected row.

Hello Shabtai,

I am afraid your scenario is not supported in Kendo UI Grid - by design the new item is inserted before the first record from the current page (in the original data) and there is no a suitable workaround I can suggest you in order to change the way the newly added item is handled. Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused.
