Hi :o)

I am trying to create a report that is similar to a mobile phone bill.

The first page is a summary of usage which is like an invoice.
The second page is a list of the readings that make up that invoice.

I cannot see how to do this. i tried using groups but they are nesting as they do - what I need is to create a second, independant header/details/footer for the second page.

I hope this makes sense.

Thank you so much for your help

Tim

Hi timtom,

You can use a second report directly through the subreport item available. Give it a spin and let us know if it fits your needs.

Hi Steve :o)

Thanks for that buddy - that works so far.

My next problem is to display the correct data in both.

What I am trying to do is to print an Invoice and machine list for each invoice within the invoicing table - all in one large report.

I have created two reports - "invoice" and "machinelist" - the common link is InvoiceId.

I have then created another report called "bill".
the "bill" report is bound to the invoicing table with a single field called InvoiceId. I have added "invoice" and "machinelist" to the "bill" report (in the detail section.).

I then added InvoiceId to the parameters collection of each report and I get nothing.

What am I doing wrong.

Thanks again buddy
