All Chat functions are accessible only to keyboard users.
In its Tab page sequence, the Chat includes the following stops:
- A message list
- An input text box
- A Send button
In the message list, the Chat supports the following keyboard shortcuts:
| Shortcut | Context | Description |
|---|---|---|
Up Arrow | Message list | Selects the previous Chat entry—a message, attachment. |
Down Arrow | Message list | Selects the next Chat item—a message, attachment. |
Tab | Message list | Selects the quick action. |
Shift + Tab | Message list | Selects the quick action. |
Home | Message list | Focuses the first message in the message list. |
End | Message list | Focuses the last message in the message list. |
Enter / Space | Message list | Executes the selected quick action and focuses the input text box. |
Enter | Message text box | Sends the currently entered message. |
Shift + F10 | Opens the context menu of the selected message. |
