I am using a single chart with 8 chart areas. I have enabled zooming and scrolling on all of the charts and I have noticed that ALL the chart areas refresh when I scroll or zoom a single chart area. This makes it pretty slow. Is there something I might be doing wrong or is this by design?

OK I'll just talk to myself then. Fixed the problem by splitting the chart into 8 separate charts with 1 chart area in each. First loading time is the same, but zooming and scrolling is much faster. Suggest this is a bug?

Hello Jeremy,
The issue you are facing is caused by the fact that chart is rebinding each time a chartarea is updated. The right solution is what you have written in your second post - 8 charts with 1 chartarea for each of them.
