I am using VS12RC and SL5 with Telerik Silverlight Q2 2012
As soon as I add DataVisualization to a project, xaml intellisense stops working. :-(
Is there anything I can do to get round this, or will I have to wait until Q3 release?

Indeed we are aware of this intellisense problem with Visual Studio 12 RC -- in fact it is not limited only to the DataVisualization assembly e.g. the same problem occurs if you add MediaPlayer assembly reference as well. We have already contacted Microsoft on this one and we are currently researching whether the problem is related to the Visual Studio itself, or there is something specific about our assemblies that we can change in order to address the problem but right now we cannot commit a timeframe for the resolution of this issue.

Hi,
Have you got any response by Microsoft ?
We start a big new project (50h/j for 2 year), we make a POCT with telerik but if intellisense not working it's a problem for use this component-tools in our project.

Hello Alexandre,
Microsoft have fixed the problem on their end and the fix should be available with the next public release of the studio (VS 2012 RTM?). Meanwhile, we have identified the specific condition that caused DataVisualization assembly to trigger the Visual Studio XAML Intellisense bug and we have addressed it accordingly in our codebase as well.
The modification will be included in the next weekly internal build on Monday so when you download the new binaries you will be able to use XAML Intellisense with referenced DataVisualization assembly in VS 2012 RC.

As noted in our previous reply the modification will be included in the next weekly internal build on Monday so you will be able to preview the updated binaries prior to the next official release.
