Hi,

I'm upgrading telerik controls from 2012 Q2 SP1 version to current version 2013 Q2 SP1. I have noticed that Metro theme has been renamed to Windows8.

I have read in Telerik documentation how to use Windows8 and Windows8Touch colors and fonts in xaml Windows8 and Windows8Touch colors and fonts

However, currently, I can see that Windows8 colors class is marked as obsolete. In my .cs classes I'm using Windows8Palette class. What Is the recommended way to use Windows8 colors and fonts in .xaml files?

Thanks

Hi Dani,

The correct way is to use Windows8Palette. I'll update the mentioned article by the end of the week.

I'm sending you a sample project demonstrating how to use Windows8Resource Dictionary and Windows8TouchResource Dictionary in your application and how to modify the colors of these two themes. Please give it a try and inform us in case you have any problems or concerns.
