Hello,

I have a previous project that was developed using telerik controls in silverlight 3. We plan on using silverlight 4 later on. Do we need to updated the codes? or updates are not anymore necessary?

Also, we have downloaded the latest RadControls for Silverlight. But the problem is that we only have silverlight 3 installed and not silverlight 4. If we proceed with the installation, will the RadControls for Silverlight still work in Silverlight 3?

Please advice

Thanks!

Hello Barry,

I would strongly encourage you to upgrade to SL4 . This will ensure you will be getting bug fixes and updates on the telerik binaries  for the future. Such support for SL 3 will be no longer available after the next major release.

In theory , there will not be a need to change your codebase. However if you meet any problems while upgrading we will be glad to assist you in solving them .

All the best,
