I have in DayView one level grouping and Appointments in AllDayArea. Length of Appoinments is one day.
In column “Termostat” Appointment overlap next column. Width of column is done by text “Termostat”. It is done for horizontal and vertical orientation also. See image.
Is possible by any property set right width?

I noticed that you have set a custom template of AppointmentItems. Does the problem appear if you remove the customization? If yes,please send us sample running project to test it locally.
