Hello,
until recently, we can download the offline documentation from the documentation page. Now it seems that there is no more a link to download it. And there is no link in the UI for Silverlight download page.
Where can we download it now?

Hello Patrick,

The CHM is now available for download in the UI for Silverlight download page.

I hope this helps.

Hi Yana,

Can you (or anyone else) give the URL of where to find this (ie. "UI for Silverlight download page")?  I could not find a direct link to download the CHM files anymore on the page that I think you are referring to.

http://www.telerik.com/products/silverlight/download.aspx

I had an old link that seems to work but I would assume this is available somewhere.  Here is the old link I used.

http://www.telerik.com/documents/RadControlsForSilverlight_CHM.zip

I only install binaries from the Control Panel app, not the full package so this was the only way to get the offline CHM documentation files.  I don't find the online documentation very usable.  Too much clicking around and losing your place.

Thanks!

Hi Doug,
when you have the list of products, you must click on Browse all product files.
Here is the right URL (you need to log in to use it): http://www.telerik.com/account/your-products/product-versions.aspx?pmvid=3553&pid=571.

Thanks Patrick!

Took me a while to weave through to find this.  Seems like it should be easier to find the documentation (like a download link on the online documentation page makes sense to me).  Oh well...I sure appreciate it!

Hi Doug,

Thank you for sending your feedback.

We've decided to distribute the offline documentation in the products' download page as in this way the corresponding CHM file for each release will be available for download at anytime .

I hope this clears things up.

Understood, that that is helpful, to have the archive of files if running an older version.  However, for the most current version (which you would be viewing online), having a button to download the current version CHM file, seems reasonable and useful as a common scenerio.

Thanks Yana!
