Hi Vitaliy,

the old forum is still available read/only at www.voa-forum.com to support former Vanatec customers. All information there refers to former Vanatec OpenAccess releases, so like 6 months outdated to some degree.

Hi Peter

Yeah, 6 months but there are still many interesting things there. :-)
Especially because we are still using of SQL 2000, and waiting for your replay about will you support this server or not.

Could you please fix the forum search engine please?
It outputs links like this:
http://h596688.serverkompetenz.net:8080/en/community-support/forum/discussions/view_topic?topic_id=698
instead of:
http://h596688.serverkompetenz.net:8080//www_vanatec_com/en/community-support/forum/discussions/view_topic?topic_id=698

Thanks.

Hello Vitaliy,

sorry, I haven't seen an open request for SQL2000, since we dropped it and based on our current research, we do not plan to support it again. We plan to do some survey in January and if the interest is big enough, we will re-consider. Thanks for your understanding.

Concerning the old Forum,  thanks for the bug report. We will try to fix it asap.

Hi Peter

It was some kind of secret request:
http://www.telerik.com/community/forums/orm/general-discussions/telerik-openaccess-mssqlserver-not-found.aspx#696422
I didn't know that you threw MS SQL 2000 overboard.
( I used our manager login by mistake. So, double oops :-) )

Well, it would be great to upgrade the ORM right now.
But yes, I do understand. Ntds driver. :-(

BTW: have you cleared Telerik Open Access from J# code absolutelly now?
I remeber you promised to reprogram the engine with C#, however I saw the requirement of J# package in the documentation.

Thanks

Hi Vitaliy,

the decision for dropping SQL 2000 was already made before the change to Telerik. We asked the former customer base ahead of time and nobody complained.

Concerning Java dependency: it was removed with the first Telerik release. So sorry, if you found something in the documentation. It will be reviewed completely.

Best,

Hello Vitaliy,

we have decided to support SQL 2000 again. It should become available in March/April.
