Hi Friends,

We have existing ASP.Net Web application with Data Access Application Block at DAL. We are planning to use Telerik Silverlight Charts within existing web application. I never used Silverlight in past and going to start with telerik silverlight charts.

What is the best data access strategy to feed the data to Telerik Silverlight Charts?

Is it ADO.Net Data Service, .Net RIA services, WCF or Web Services?

I am using .Net 2.0 for long time and never used Data Service, WCF, .Net RIA technologies any time. I have experience with Webservice though.

Which one is with less learning curve and best approach in my scenario as I have to replace the SQL Reporting Service charts with telerik as early as possible?

Appreciate your time.

Thanks

Hello Jitendra Mandalia,

.NET Ria Services is just a high level name for a collection of different technologies. Data transfer there is accomplished via ADO.NET data services. We have an example illustrating how to use RadChart with such a service: http://demos.telerik.com/silverlight/#Chart/DataBinding
