WeekViewDefinition day columns width not uniform

Dear Telerik Team,

When the RadScheduleView is showing the Week view, the day columns seem to have different widths.
Is there a way to have them all of the same width regardless of the appointments? We wanted to give an uniform view by columns and if a day contains many appointments they should shrink.

In the attached screenshot you can see that even days with 1 appointment are rendered with different size, ranging from 138 px (5th column) to 198 px (3rd column).

The days that contain the same number of appointments will be rendered with the same widths as of Q2 2011 (less than two weeks away). You can check the beta version that we released recently:

The strategy for determining the column width when there are overlapping appointments will not change, though. Such change will require a significant amount of work and will not be able to enter the Q2 release. This means that when a column contains two or three overlapping appointments, its width will be two or three times the width of a column with no overlapping appointments.

I will await for the next build of the RadControls, then. There are a lot of improvements that I asked for and that will be included. It seems Q2 2011 will be another big shift!

Hello Simon,

In the current version of RadScheduleView the columns in week view that contain the same maximum number of intersecting appointments will have the same width. For example, if a column contains two intersecting appointments it will be twice the width of a colum that has no intersecting appointments. In other words, the appointments define the size of the columns. We don't have plans for changing this behavior.
