[Solved] Week number cell click event

hi,

is there any way to raise an event when user tap on Week Number Cell Type ?

 

"CellTapped" not firing when click on week number cell.

Can we add custom event for specific cell type ? , if YES How ?

Inside renderer or in  CustomizationRule

Hi Shalin,

I am afraid that Calendar does not provide such an event out of the box. Could you please elaborate more on the scenario you have? Also are you using the Calendar on any concrete platform, or you're considering both Android and iOS?

hi,

scenario is if user click on week number highlight that week. And yes, i need this functionality on both platforms (Android and iOS)

Hello, Shalin,

Unfortunately, the functionality you are looking for cannot be easily achieved. You can have a look at the native implementations of the RadCalendar in Android and iOS and check if you can come up with something custom by overriding the behavior of the native elements through custom renderers, however the task does not seem very straight-forward so we are not able to provide you with a solution at this point.
