When I switch from Q2 to Q3, I can no longer combine files in the Script Registrar. When I do, the project breaks in the middle of the combined scripts, and I see and extra left angle bracket (<) inserted after one of the scripts.

We fixed a couple of bugs which were introduced in the web asset handling code. I am attaching a hotfix build which you can try. If that build does not help I would ask you to send a sample application which shows the problem.
