Hello,

I have a Kendo solution in Graphite and tryin to set JS Brace Positions in the Options menu. The problem is the following ugly red message overlays the settings dialog: "Warning: the options on this page are overridden by the solution shared options", and even I can set up the Brace Positions it won't saved.

Why can't I change Code Style? Why is it overridden?  How can I access and modify the "solution shared options"?

Thanks for the advice!

Hi Gabor,

This is a known problem in the current version that we would fix for the upcoming release next week.

Please excuse us for the temporary inconvenience.

Hello,

Today I've updated my Graphite. The ugly unhelpful error message finally doesn't appear, but sadly code settings doesn't get saved in the new version.

So my question is: does Graphite have any way to change coding style? I mean despite the UI is still broken, there should be a config file somewhere.

Hello Gabor,

I wasn't able to reproduce your issue. The settings are saved successfully after I hit the OK button of the User Options window.
You can see whether the changes are reflected in the config file by directly navigating to it, the folder is:

%localappdata%\Telerik\BlackDragon\<current user>\user-settings.xml

You can edit this file manually as well, should you need to.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. I've reinstalled Graphite, and saving settings works for now. I'm using Windows 8.1 and having some issues with other applications aswell since the upgrade.

Thanks for fixing this!

BR,

Gabor
