After I've installed ORM 2010.1.310 is not longer possible to switch to design view from code view in an ASP.NET page in Visual Studio 2008. When I click in the bottom button to view the page in design mode, Visual Studio is unable to show the design view, and if I minimized the Visual Studio and then maximized again a black screen is showed.
I've repetead this procedure in other machine with the same result.
I've had to reinstall Visual Studio to recover the problem.

Hi Roberto Andrade Olivie,
We had to factor out the OpenAccessDataSource to a different dll. Is it possible that you have a OpenAccessDataSource on your page? Can you run the Check Settings wizard from the telerik->openaccess->configuration menu? It should fix all missing references.
Greetings,
Jan Blessenohl
the Telerik team

Hello Jan
Thank you for your response.
This behavior happens with any project, even ASP.NET projects that are not using Telerik components.
If I create a new ASP.NET project, and add a new web form, when I try to switch the page to design mode VS hangs.
Thank you

Hello Jan
Finally I've solved the problem. I've uninstalled and reinstalled again VS2008 and all Telerik components (ASP.NET AJAX, WinForm and ORM) and now it works fine.
Thank you for your help.

I had this happen to me, but it appears that it has more to do with Office 2010 then anything else. I happen to be on Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit and upgraded from Office 2007 to 32-bit Office 2010 the day before I started having this issue.
Here is an article I found on social.msdn.microsoft.com that seems to have repaired my issue without having to reinstall everything.
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/vssetup/thread/a7acb8c5-c4f3-492a-9e86-71189027cb8a
If you don't want to read that, just go to Control Panel -> Uninstall a program (under Programs in categories). Scroll down to "Microsoft Visual Studio Web Authoring Component" and select "Change". It will launch in what appears to be an Office 2007 maintenance package (at least it did for me). Once that launches, you can select "Repair" and you should be able to go back to work once it completes.
