If I want to re-order properties in the visual designer - can I do so? How?

Thanks

Hello Peter Huisman,

Unfortunately this functionality is not yet available. We have it in our todo list however it has not yet made it to the product. How important is that for you? Maybe if it is something that alot of people are requesting we can increase the priority of this item?
Your feedback will be greatly appreciated.

It's a high-priority 'Nice to Have'.

Hello Peter Huisman,

Thanks for the suggestion. We will add a Pits entry in our Pits tracking system where people would be able to vote for. In case there is a good popularity for that feature we will be able to increase its priority.
Once again thanks for the suggestion.

I just wanted to vote for this feature, but I couldn't find it in the PIT.
It would be really nice to be able to reorder properties and columns!

Skywalker

Hello Skywalker,

Since enough people have requested that feature we have decided to implemented it for the Q1 release without adding a PITS item for that (since no voting is needed).
With the Q1 release you will be able to rearrange the properties in the visual designer. Furthermore some more properties compartment will be introduced so that different types of properties are easily distinguishable (navigational and implemented properties will be put in their own compartments).
Please do let me know if that seems good to you.

Kind regards,
Petar

Hi Petar,

Great!
Also putting the different property types into their own compartment is a great idea. I've come to really enjoy designing models using the designer, and that will make it even better.
Looking forward to the Q1 release!

Greetings,
Skywalker
