Virtual scrolling in Silverlight RadGridView

Hello,

The virtual scrolling functionality of the ASP.NET AJAX RadGrid control is very interesting. However, I'm currently developing an application in Silverlight. So my question is: is the virtual scrolling functionality available in the Silverlight RadGridView as well?

If not, does Telerik have any (short-term) plans to implement this functionality in the Silverlight RadGridView?

The Virtual scrolling functionality is in the development plans for RadGridView for Silverlight. The targeted release for its availability is Q3 2010.

Virtual scrolling is still on schedule for Q3 which should be released around mid November. Most probably we will release a beta 2-3 weeks before that and you will have the change to test our Virtual scrolling mechanism.

Hi,

I’m not sure if this is the right forum to ask this but could you please verify if following are known bugs in virtual scrolling?

1) When browsing grid rows using up/down arrows by keeping key pressed down the grid loses focus when key press is received while item loading is in progress.

2) Selecting rows in multiselect mode by dragging mouse with mouse button pressed and item loading occurs seems to cause either “Index out of range” error or other unstable beaviour, like not all rows get selected, selecting by dragging may stop working (clicking rows selects/deselects it without affecting other selected rows).

We confirm those issues and we will be looking for way to resolve them in a future version. Unfortunately there are any workarounds at the moment.

but In Demo Controls , i didnt found this DataVirtualization Control. Where i will get this for demo use?
