Is there anything I can do to force the scrollbar element to refresh? I believe the issue is that the axes are being drawn before the scrollbar element - when the data refreshes, the axes are updated but the scrollbar is not.

Given only the provided information I was not able to track-down the cause of the problem. In order to help you we will to reproduce the problem on our side and investigate it. That's why it would best if you could provide a runable project or some sample code along with detailed instructions on how to reproduce the bug.
