Let's say I wanted to put a vertical menu on the right-hand side of the page and have the menu items open up to the left as opposed to the right. Is there a way to do that? If so, is there a way to conditionally do it (based off of a profile variable that holds the users selected layout).

The described functionality is available in the Kendo UI Menu and its corresponding MVC wrapper that will eventually replace the current MVC Menu.
