Version Compatibility Issue In Telerik Test Studio

Hello

I have version compatibility issue in the telerik test studio which i have installed in my machine. I have defined a project and recorded the test cases in it but the issue is that:

Whenever newer version of application is installed in the system, the test cases which i defined for the previous version does not compatible with the newer version.   

Kindly guide me if someone can to resolve this issue.

Hi Qasim,

In order to help you best please elaborate a bit more: What sort of "version compatibility issue" are you experiencing? What are the symtpoms? What are the error messages? When/where do you get these error messages?

1. What kind of application are you testing (HTML, Silverlight or WPF)?

2. Send us the execution log.

3. Please record a Jing video demonstrating the entire process, so we can better understand what is happening. 

4. Provide us with a copy of your test and grant us access to your application so we can reproduce the issue on our end and give you a solution. 

5. If it is not possible to grant us access to your application and it is not WPF application, please take a Fiddler trace and attach it to a support ticket in a zip file. You can capture a Fiddler trace using FiddlerCap.
