[Solved] USB etc sync of data

Hi,

I have a SQL Server 2008 DB on a server on our Intranet.  Is it possible to transfer the local telerik DB contents to a remote SQL Server i.e. by USB in some sort of easy transfer.  For example, connect my win8 tablet by usb to a networked PC and then hit a transfer button (on my app) which writes to the database on the server?

NB I seen in other posts that it is not possible to do an Azure sync at the moment.

Hi Kieran,

Thank you for the question.

As far as we know, WinRT does not provide a driver/library to connect directly to SQL. You could try to setup WCF/REST service used as a proxy and access it from the WinRT app to post the data.
