Usage of User Story Comments

Hello,

The following scenario:

A user story has been assigend to me (developer lead) The user story status is "In Development".
Now I have a quesiton about the story. I would like to ask somebody who knows the use case in detail (e.g. a keyuser).
I would like to use the user story comments because I do not want to sent emails. Everything about the use case should be saved at one place.

Question:
How do I know who receives the comment I entered.
How can I make sure key user a/b/c got an email notification about the comment.
(I do not want to change the assigned to, just because of a small call back)

Hi Daniel,

Currently we do not provide a mechanism to deliver comments to one or more specific users. All comments are view-able by anyone with access to view the story to which they are attached. Similarly, there is no mechanism to send a notification to specific users when a comment is attached to a story. 

We agree that more options for sending/receiving notifications would be extremely beneficial. I have added your feedback to our internal list and up-voted it for both you and myself.
