[Solved] Upload failed: "event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit."

I am trying to implement an upload button inside one of the panes of a Splitter. When I click on the button and select my file, I get a dialog box that says:

"Error! Upload failed. Unexpected server response - see console."

I am using Chrome. I open the console with Control-Shift-J, and I see the following message:

1"event.layerX and event.layerY are broken and deprecated in WebKit. They will be removed from the engine in the near future."

I have looked around, but I haven't seen this issue come up before. Is there something obvious I am missing?

I should add that everything is working correctly in Firefox.

I tried this after recently rebooting my PC, and it is working fine now. I have no idea.
