[Solved] Upload entire directory structure

Is there any way to use the upload control to select a root directory and upload all files in the structure, preserving the directory structure,

Hi Paul,

The browser support for directory upload is only experimental at this time. Only WebKit-based browsers implement it and it's very much broken.

You see that the relative file path is wrong for example. It's also unclear how the web server will handle the directories in the upload request.

We're following the progress on this feature and we'll try to expose it when it reaches production quality. Hopefully in other browsers as well.

No, there are no further browser developments to allow this feature. We can't proceed without native support for this feature.
