Upgrade to SL5 and Telerik version

I have simple question.
We plan to upgrade to SL5 and I need to know if we have to upgrade to Telerik for SL5 or we can still use Telerik for SL4.

Hello Jana,

The installation of RadControls for Silverlight  in Q1 release is for Silverlight 5, but we are still shipping assemblies for Silverlight 4, you can download a zip file from your account.

Also I would suggest to check the RadControls for Silverlight Support Life Cycle here:

I am sorry my question was not about distribution of Telerik controls, but about using.
Can we use in one project MS SL5 controls and Telerik for SL4 controls?

I think it is not possible, but I need to be sure because we need to know how many days we spend with upgrade to SL5.

By the way I am confused from roadmap. There is arrow up 2012 Q2 for full support of controls for SL4, but in distribution files for 2012 Q1 are for SL4 only DLLs.

Hi Jana,

We recommend using RadControls for Silverlight 5 assemblies in Silverlight 5 projects. If you have any problems with the upgrade, write to us again.

As to the roadmap - you are right that it is not clear. Thank you for your feedback, it will be considered.
