Hi All,

We are upgrading RAD controls 4.X to 7.1.3, after the upgarde we are getting the folowing error.

Parser Error Message: 'Microsoft Word Formatting' is not a valid value for attribute 'cleanformattingonpaste'. It must be of enum type 'Telerik.WebControls.EditorStripFormattingOptions'.

Hello Ram,

One issue that might be causing the problem is using old configuration files. Please make sure that after the update you are not using the configuration files (ConfigFile.xml, ToolsFile.xml) from the precious version. You should know that there are some tools that are changed in the newer version and this might be the reason for the error.

If the problem persists, once you are sure that you are using the correct configuration files, we will be glad to help you further.

Hello Ram,

Could you please provide us with your configuration files (ConfigFile.xml, ListConfigFile.xml, ToolsFile.xml, listToolsFile.xml), which are located in the /Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/4.x.x.x__1f131a624888eeed/RadControls/Editor/ folder. This way we will try to reproduce the problem on our side.

Hi Stanimir,

On my machine I just see the following path "Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/ and after that I see folder named 12,40 and 60".

The path that is bolded below is not seen on my machine. I just see only half of the path and not rest of it.

Program Files/Common Files/Microsoft Shared/web server extensions/wpresources/RadEditorSharePoint/4.x.x.x__1f131a624888eeed/RadControls/Editor/ folder

Do we need to set it up or what should be done for that? Please let me know.
