I am obviously implementing the telerik style incorrectly. Is there an article on best practices in implementing the built in styles. We would like to be able to switch between three different style before choose the correct one. The problems I am having are where to get the css and images, and how to shut off the default labels that show up like "Open the calendar" and "Sort Ascending".

Hi Charley,
I would suggest to check the skin selector that is used in our demos - if you need, you could also create custom skins with the help of the Visual Style Builder. As for the tooltips, they are controlled either by localization resources (Editor, Grid, Upload) or by setting the corresponding properties in the component's registration.
