Hi,

I am installing TeamPulse R1 2011 on a new 2008 R2 WebServer with SQlServer2008 on a separate server. When Installing, I get an error:

System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.SqlEnum, Version=10.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.

Are there other prerequisites needed for the installation? Do I need to install SqlServer Client tools or similar on the WebServer? Note that when going through the installation Wizard, the test for the connection to SqlServer was successfull

TIA
Alan

Hello Alan,

We will investigate the case and try to fix it or update our requirements.

I can suggest you workaround for now.

Install SQL Server Native Client on the web server found here. It seems that the required features are:
1) Microsoft SQL Server System CLR Types
2) Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Management Objects
3) Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Native Client
