Unable to sysnc Tasks

We are facing problems while sync of tasks from TeamPulse to TFS 2012 & vice versa.

All other items like Bugs/User Stories are getting synced.

  Thank you for your interest in TeamPulse. We are happy to hear that you started exploring TeamPulse sync with TFS 2012 functionality.

  Please note that tasks will only sync from TFS into TeamPulse if there is a parent child relationship defined with a syncable item (story/bug). 

  In order to troubleshoot your problem we need some more information as follows:

1. TeamPulse Advanced Project Settings xml
2. Task Work Item Type definition from your TFS project, exported without Global List Definition (check attached screenshot)
3. Synchronization Mappings xml
4. Integration log file located in {TeamPulse-installation-folder}\Logs\

  Please provide us this information and TeamPulse team will continue with problem resolving.

Thx for the help. We are able to sync tasks fro  TFS now.

We have linked stories in TFS but we are unable to create these links in Team Pulse. Ny suggestions.

Hi Taranjit, 

  I am glad to hear that syncing of tasks is working now. 

  Regarding your next question - currently we support syncing only parent-child relationships defined between a task and its parent. We have had several requests to support other kind of relationships. Please check the following feature requests on our Ideas and Feedback portal and vote on the items you would like to see in TeamPulse:

• Sync stories' hierarchy
• Support syncing relationship link types different than parent-child
• Sync bug to story in TFS

  The more votes an item gets - the higher priority it will get in our product backlog.
