unable to open .doc file

Hi,

I am unable to open .doc file in my application.
RichtextBox documents says that it open only .docx format, but now how can i open .doc format files

Hello Rahul,

The .doc format is currently not supported by RadRichTextBox. It is in our to-do list, but I can't engage with a particular timeframe.

In the meantime you can try using some third party tools for converting the document formats to one of the supported formats (.docx for example).

Hi,

This feature is not in our immediate plans and its priority is fairly low. Doc is a rather outdated format as opposed to DOCX which is supported by RadRichTextBox. What I'd suggest is to convert your documents to one of the supported by the control formats.
