[Solved] Unable to load file or assembly

Hi,
i created a console application that uses OpenAccess.
When i run from the debug machine (where i have installed Visual Studio 2008) everything is fine.
When i try to run it in a clear machine i obtain this error:

Impossibile caricare il file o l'assembly 'Telerik.OpenAccess, Version=2010.1.623.5, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7ce17eeaf1d59342' o una delle relative dipendenze. Impossibile trovare il file specificato.

in english sounds like:

Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.OpenAccess, Version=2010.1.623.5, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7ce17eeaf1d59342' or one of its dependencies. Unable to find the specified file.

Can you help me, please?

Hi Max,
On the developer machine this dll is in the GAC. To deploy your application please include the dlls from the bin directory of your OpenAccess installation.

i have created an asp.net web application in vs2010
i have upgraded my application to telerik open access version 2010.3.1110.3
from

Telerik.OpenAccess, Version=2009.3.1104.2

but after that i am getting error

Could not load file or assembly 'Telerik.OpenAccess, Version=2009.3.1104.2, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=7ce17eeaf1d59342' or one of its dependencies. The located assembly's manifest definition does not match the assembly reference. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80131040)

i have searched throw the application for that reference but i could not find any reference to old assembly.
please help me to resolve this error.

Hi Vineet,

Please check your Web.config file for any old OpenAccess references. You can also use the Upgrade References functionality, it will automatically update all outdated references.
If this does not help, please delete any OpenAccess assemblies from the bin folders of your projects and rebuild the whole solution.

i have also searched in web.config , but their is no reference to that assembly
and also i have rebuilded application and ran upgrade wizard
but no change.
This error is occuring when i am trying to bind telerik report viewer version 3.2.9.1104  with telerik report.

Hello Vineet,

Those versions are a bit outdated and probably you are not able to download them from your account. That is why we will have to upload them specially for you. Before that, could you please confirm that you want the Q3 2009 version of Telerik Reporting, not Q3 2010?

We do not have the practice to provide older versions of trial products to our users. The reason is simple - the product evolves with time, becomes better, and it will be best if our users test the newest versions we provide.
 
I am willing to give you access to the trial products of these versions, however could you give us more details on why are still using trial products which are almost two years old? I did not find these products under your account, so could you send me the company name and email email address of the account that these products were originally downloaded from?
