Hi,
I think having the filter icon on every column header looks a bit busy. I think it would look better if when mouseing over the header show the icon slightly transparent and hide it when moving away from column header. Another idea would be to put a bar over the header to specify the name of the band. I think this would be usefull when the grid has many bands. If you can already do this please let me know how.

The functionality you want is not implemented in the grid. However it is relatively simple to edit the header cell template and show the filter icon on MouseOver. Attached I am sending you a sample solution achieving this. I hope this will work.
