[Solved] Typing becomes slow when adding over 5 lines of Text

Hi,

I am experiencing performance issue while integrating RadRichTextBox into my project. Adding more than 5 lines of text hammers typing performance. As you add more and more, typing becomes much slower. Unfortunately this will make the control unusable for somewhat large text.

I am migrating from MS RichTextBox, do you guys have any plans to improve the performance of the control. At least to support a pragraph of like 10 lines.

Hi Joseph,

 What version of the controls are you using, as your download history says nothing about RadControls for Silverlight or RadRichTextBox? Some information on your OS, Browser and implementation might also be helpful. Also, please share with us the hardware specifications of the machine you're testing on.
We are designing our control with performance in mind and we consider it already to be satisfactory even for large documents. There is also a similar discussion in this forum thread.
