Whem doing "WCF RIA Services and Silverlight"  on  Task 3 – Creating WCF RIA Service / item 2, adding Telerik Data Access Domain Service template, we receive the message "Silverlight 4 is not installed", but we have Silverlight 5 installed.
How to fix ? The Telerik Data Access Domain Service running until Silverlight 4 ?
Thanks!

Hi Silvio,

Do you refer to the step:

"2. In the list of categories, select Web and then select the Telerik Data Access Domain Service class template." in paragraph  "Creating a Domain Service" from this article. If that is the case it is not expected to get such messages as the Telerik Data Access Domain Services are not bound to Silverlight at all. You can use host them in a web project and the consumer could be whatever you would like.

Usually when a Domain Service is added in the Web project Visual Studio tries to generate the respective proxy classes in the Silverlight project automatically. I would assume that something could be wrong with your Silverlight setup.

Similar problems might occur if there is discrepancy between the version of the Silverlight Visual Studio Tools and the Silverlight Developer Runtime (one of both is 32 bit, the other is 64 bit) or there is difference in the version number. I would suggest you to uninstall all Silverlight related packages and install them freshly all with one and the same version.

I hope this helps. Should you have any further questions do not hesitate to get back to us.
