I have been attempting to evaluate Open Access ORM for our development team, but having several errors.

I was attempting to use the wizard to reverse engineer a database.  Initially, the base Rad Ajax website that I had created didn't have the correct connection information in the web.config.  I found a blog post which helped get those added.

Now, when running the reverse engineering wizard, I get the following error

>>
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
Please try again after fixing the problem.
NOTE: The settings made so far have been saved to the reversemapping.config file.
<<

This happens even when I only select one simple table.  Is there any troubleshooting log file to help solve this problem.  The error message doesn't give any hint to the problem.

Thank you,

Hello Andrew Bornand,

Can you please send us the reversemapping.config file that is generated by the wizard. That would help us in narrowing down to the problem.

All the best,

Thanks for the quick reply.  I think I just figured out what was going on.  I was trying to use a website project.  When actually added my DAL library project and used the wizard, it worked.

Thank you,
