In previous post I ask about sorting on Xaxis.

I have a chart that will have 24 data points.  2 years in months.  Counting down on the XAxis Months Remaining  23, 22, 21,... 3, 2, 1, 0

At the beginning of the project I will only have 1 month of actual data. Each month I need to add data to the chart, but the chart always needs to represent all 24 data points so i can put a target line all the way to the end of the charts time period.  (basically it's a visual representation of "Hey gang, might want to get going, kind of lagging behind the effor here ya know".)

I'm expecting I'll have 4 lines. Including projected trend line and target line from month 23 to month 0, and then two more that will only have data up to the current month.

Some if not all of the data points will be null as the project progresses.

Suggestions?

Hi Cuthahotha,

As I wrote in the other thread - the best solution would be to use categorical bar chart.

Trend lines are not supported in the current version of the control. However with the upcoming version(middle of July) there will be an option for adding custom lines, grid lines and marked zones that should help in this scenario.

Is that new version compatible with Silverlight 3?

Is there a way I can draw custom elements on the chart surface?

Hi Georgi,

As I mentioned in your other thread, we will not be back-porting the annotations functionality back to the SL3 version of RadChart. We apologize for the inconvenience.
