Currently the DocxFormatProvider doesn't support Track Changes & Lock Tracking and there is no alternative. For more information about the supported features you can check the Features help topic for the DocxFormatProvider. Please, be sure you are following the public item I opened (Provide support for Track Changes) so we can notify you when its status changes and vote for its implementation to increase the priority of the task.
