I was thinking of looking into TP as a tool for planning an information exchange with my clients.

Is there a way to run it on a web server and restrict access to users asigned to a project?

Regards Markus

Hi Markus,

Team Pulse can be run on a web server so that assigned clients to have access to the project but you have to have in mind the following restrictions of the current(and Q1.2011) version:
  1. Team Pulse requires Windows Authentication and the clients will need a valid windows domain accounts in order to be able to log in the application - it is in our backog to implement forms authentication for one of the upcoming major releases.
  2. All users assigned to the project will be able to view and modify the project content. Currently Team Pulse does not provide functionality for role management.

Hope this will help.
Greetings,
