Hi;
The current coloring of the Office Black Theme for toolbar does not match with other controls in "Office Black" theme. It's more like the Office Silver theme. Here I grabbed a few screen shots to show.
"Black.jpg" is the current one now.
"Silver.jpg" which looks very similar to black.
"Black_New.jpg" I propose.
Would it be possible to adjust this by SP1, please?
Thanks!
..Ben

Can you at least make it possible to change the background color via properties? or provide a sample where we can change the style to black that only affect the toolbar?
I'm a bit confused, the current Black Office toolbar color doesn't match with back Theme at all, and when you put it on a page, it just doesn't match with the rest of the controls.

The toolbar color for Office Black should be like this from your samples:

Hi Ben,
Thank you for details.
As there are no toolbars in this example we are not sure are you targeting this one.
Could you check it please?
Looking forward for your reply.

Hi Ivan;
Yes, although there is no toolbar on that sample, but my point is that, the dark header could also be perceived as the toolbar by the user. The same as GridView which uses the same color for the header part. I was mainly referring what the color should look like when it's used in that section for the "Black Office" theme.
Hope this clarifies it.
Trust me, this point has been raised by other people that I have shown the demos to as well.

The main reason we decided to make the toolbar gray was that, considering the overall customers’ feedback, we decided Telerik Office Black Theme to look like MS Office Black Theme (MS designed all the Office Black toolbars in gray). Moreover, as the Office Black buttons are gray, putting them on a black bar wasn’t such a good idea (hence that Cart’s toolbar buttons are black).

I've got a similar problem.
I need to change to current gradient, how can I do that?
Thanks

Hello Schematic,
In order to change the background of the RadToolBar control you have to set property Background.
Please find attached an example.
