Tokenizing of text outside suggestions

Hi,

I am evaluating the use of the AutoCompleteTextView in one of my projects. I am trying to enable the tokenizing of text even if no present in the suggestions. For instance, if the user writes something and then press space, the text that he wrote should be tokenized. 

Is it possible to do so? I have tried setting "allowCustomTokens" to true, but it seems to have no effect.

Thank you for your interest and feedback on our controls.

Seems like the current implementation allows tokenizing of text outside of the suggestions only in append mode.
Since this is a behavior which should be supported not only in append mode I have created an issue in our feedback portal based on your feedback. Here is link to it, this way you can be up to date with the status of the issue.
The fix will be included in one of our upcoming releases.
I have also added 500 Telerik points to your account for bringing the issue to our attention.

I can confirm it works only in Append mode. Thanks for your help!
