I have started to get this error message with the latest version of TeamPulse.

It loads everything up then displays this message.

Hi Guys,

This error is occuring because you've entered the same user (denoted by the domain name and user name) twice in the user management site (http://<server name>:2431).  Please delete one of the duplicates and the problem should go away.

We've noted that the system should not allow you to enter the same user twice and have entered the issue into our backlog for resolution.

Robert Régnier

I deleted all users through the app running on port 2431.  Tried again and I get the same error.  Maybe they're still in the database?  What table does the user info get stored in?

Hello Chris,

In order to access TeamPulse you have to have a least one user confgured in the system.  It sounds like you ended up deleting all of the users which would indeed result in the nearly the same mesage except with the "Sequence contains more than one element" message.

Please add yourself back in as a user, taking care not to add a duplicate, and try again.

All the best,
Robert Régnier

I'm up.  I deleted all users. De-installed. Re-installed.  Good to go.

I have uninstalled then deleted the database and started from scratch but still getting the same error message.

Is there an error log that I can post?

Kind Regards,
Andrew

Hello Andrew McClenaghan,

Would you be able to post a copy of your error message? When the error message pops up, click on the copy to clipboard link and just paste it into the forum. We'll see what we can figure out from there.

Thanks,
Jesse Dyck

Hello Andrew,

Which users have you setup on the User Management site? Could you take a screenshot?

Hi Andrew,

I have a suspicion that something may have gone wrong during installation that caused multiple licenses to be added to the database.  Can you take a screenshot of the License table from the TeamPulse database and post it here?  There should only be one row in that table, so if there is more than one you can try to delete the second row.  I have attached a screenshot of what the license table should look like.

Kind regards,
Joel

Hey,

Thanks Joel. This was the case and TeamPulse is now working. There was two lines in the licence table.

Kind Regards,
Andrew
