Dear Telerik Team,

in our product we are using the ScheduleView with the Timeline in a lot of places.

They are all configured to use the DayStartTime and DayEndTime properties, that usually have the values 8:00 and 20:00.
I noticed, however, a strange way of how it renders the time line and the appointments.
In fact the first visible day starts at 8:00 and end at 24:00, while all the other days starts at 0:00 and end at 24:00.
I'm thinking that this rendering is due to the fact that the Timeline gives a continuous time representation.

The behaviour that I wanted to achieve was each day starting at 8:00 and ending at 20:00. The ScheduleView can be configured to do this, or the built-in behaviour is that that I described ?

Thanks a lot!

Kind Regards,

Massimiliano Giustizieri, Italy.

Hello Massimiliano,

This is intended behavior, as you marked we wanted to achieve a continuous time representation. I'm afraid that currently the behavior cannot be changed, but we will definitely reconsider it.

We hope this is not a show stopper for you.

Best wishes,

Dear Yana,

thanks for your reply, first of all.

We can live with that. I just wanted to be sure that this behaviour is by design.

Kind Regards,

Massimiliano Giustizieri.

Dear Yana,

another question about this topic: this is also the reason why the first day in the Timeline is always today?

What I would like to do is to show the Timeline starting from the last Monday. For example, if today is Tuesday the 28th, the Timeline should start from Monday the 27th, but I'm not sure how to achieve this.

Thanks!

Massimiliano Giustizieri.

Hello Massimiliano,

The first date in TimelineView is the current date, so you can change CurrentDate property of the ScheduleView to be the last Monday - this can be done in VisibleRangeChanged event.

Please try this approach and let us know whether it helps.
