Is it possible to have a feature in the TileView to store the position of the tiles on user's machine, so next time they go to the same page, they see their tiles in the same position as they left them?
Secondly, if we use RIA's authentication and Authorization, what would be the preferred way of showing/hiding tiles that relate to the roles of the user? Setting the Visibility to Visible/Collapsed?
Thanks!

Hi ..Ben,
Yes - this is in the product backlog. Most probably we will do it for the Q3.SP1.
Yes - you can use the Visibility property for that.

I have a couple of recommendations regarding how the RadTileView behaves when a tile is Collapsed. As it is today, the tile is simply hidden, which is not the exact behavior I would want.
1. When the tile is collapsed, and it was in "Small" mode, automatically rearrange the other small tiles to fill in the gap, just as if the collapsed tiles was deleted.
2. When the tile is collapsed, and it was in "Large" mode, automatically rearrange the other small tiles into the "Content" mode (rows/columns), just as if the tile was closed then removed.
If there is a better way to achieve this, let me know. I want the user to be able to select which tiles are shown, without having to dynamically create the tiles. But, I don't want to show "gaps" when tiles are collapsed.

Hello Gary,
Thank you for the suggestions. We will certainly consider implementing them, although we cannot commit to anything at this point. Our Q3 release is rapidly approaching and we are on a very tight schedule. Hopefully, we will be able to work on your suggestions for one of the service packs after the Q3 release.
Kind regards,
