In my prototype I have several of the Telerik controls including:

- RadDock;
- RadMenu;
- RadGridView;
- RadMenu;

Now I have an organized structure, I change the look of these controls. But change is complicated most of the properties of controls using the Blend or Visual Studio.

The themes available (Vista, Summer, etc.). Not interest me. We have also tried to build my theme, but it is a very complicated task, because we do not know all the properties that one has control.

Therefore, I have two questions!

- How best to change my prototype for the design I want?

- When you can change all properties of your controls?

Best Regards,

Paulo Silva

Hi Paulo Silva,

To create your own theme you can choose one of the existent themes (Vista, Summer or OfficeBlack) and to modify it to meet your requirements. All the changes should be inside the Generic.Xaml file.

Unfortunately there is a problem you will face with - with the last official build the Blend rises an exception when open the generic.xaml file.

The good news is that we have released an internal build where the fixes are applyed - In the attached archive you can find a theme project based on Office_Black theme.

Best wishes,

Hi,

    Does the attached theming sample correspond to the latest release  2009.1 526. We were working on something like dynamically changing the Theme. Could anyone please provide some guidance on this.

Thanks
