We recently did a server migration and domain change and I am attempting to reconnect our existing TeamPulse projects to our new TFS server but I get the following error when I attempt to select the project to connect to it.

A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

I have verified that our SQL server is setup for remote connections and everything else is working correctly (TFS, SQL, TFS Build Server). I also have Project Administrator privileges on both the TeamPulse project and the TFS project. What potential problems could there be that are causing this error?

I found out what my problem was. Apparently we still had a reference to the old SQL server in a connection string that is in the config file for the TeamPulse Integration Service. After I changed that to point to our new server everything started working.
