Testing Queries on the functional testing

Hi,

Does ur automated testing support the functional testing? I want to test a basic scenario, for ex. when a user keyin the test field and lost focus, it check to the database whether the user exists or not? Is there any example code how to connect to the database and perform the functional testing using the Telerik Develoment Test Studio? Pls forward.

Right now i am using the Premium editon, i found the automated UI test studio in the ultimate edition. What would be Licence amount to upgrade from the Telerik Premium edition to the upgraded edition? Is there any discount if i upgrade from the premium to the ultimate edition? I didnt find the help reference and api reference to the Testing tools similar to the telerik control? Where as it is very good and easier for the telerik controls? where can i find such reference for the UI testing?

I found the below mentioned URL in the forum for load testing. but it doesnt work. Is there any other URL examples for load testing. Pls forward.

Yes, WebUI Test Studio is for building functional tests against your web site or web application and you can data drive your tests from a database as your datasource.
