Hello,

I was curious if the test studio also captures the time that each step takes to execute as well as the success/failure.  That would be important information to know.

Hello Brian,

Thanks for the post and question. The test log will record times for the execution of each test step, so you could get an estimate of execution time there.

The test steps have Pass/Fail icons for Quick Execution mode on the steps themselves. and the test log is also written to the .trx file in VSTS execution.

Quick Edit: Sorry, forgot to mention you can implement your own timer in code using the Log() method. Please see the 'Customizing Your Test Using C# or VB.NET Code' topic in the Quick Start Guide for reference on customized steps.
