Is it possible to have something like column templates in the Grid toolbar? I'm not seeing a way to do this and I'd like to be able to control the class and controls that are rendered in the toolbar.
A few examples of the things I'd like to be able to do in the toolbar:
* Modify the class of the action.
* Add an Ajax link/button that will post a form containing a templated checkbox column.
* Add controls like drop downs or images to the toolbar.

This is a very good idea! I have logged it as a feature request and you can vote for it.
For the official release you would be able to use a CustomCommand in the toolbar and set its HtmlAttributes (including class).
