This does not work yet, as you have said on your site. When will this work with Ajax and WebServices? It seems like I keep on having to hack around it to get what I need to happen ( and it is taking a long, long time to do so). I saw another post of someone asking the same question with no answer. Can you please let us know when you are going to release this as it would be very helpful in using the grid. Thanks.

Hello Mike,

Server templates are *never* going to be supported with ajax and web service binding. Ajax and web service binding return JSON data which the grid then binds to in the browser. There is no way to execute server side code (template) over this JSON data.

This help topic shows the available workarounds - client templates, onRowDataBound and Format.
